Periklis Andritsos joined Thoora in July of 2008, where he leads the research team. His research interests include database systems, data and text mining, clustering and reverse engineering. He is a senior member of the IEEE Computer Society and the Association for Computing Machinery.Periklis received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 1998 from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece. In 2000, he received a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, and in 2004 a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto where he spent one year as a post-doctoral fellow. From 2005 until 2008 he was an assistant professor at the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Trento, where he was a member of the Data and Knowledge Management group and the co-ordinator of the Bolzano-Innsbruck-Trento, school.
